Fred Anderson, V.P of Operations, has proudly been a part of the Pilgrim Mat Services team for 13 years. In the past, Anderson worked as a restaurant manager and often met with linen personnel whom he thought were professional and friendly. As time went on, Fred formed solid relationships with the linen personnel and was offered a position at National Linen Service, a large textile service organization, which ultimately led him to the facility services (mat) industry. He worked at National Linen Service for 21 years before coming to Pilgrim Mat Services.
Fred enjoys working alongside his colleagues who are empowered to make decisions that are right for Pilgrim’s customers and staff. He also enjoys working with employees and customers, training them in all aspects of floor safety. Anderson’s essential responsibility is to support his employees and make sure they are equipped with the proper tools to service customers. He is an ANSI Certified Walkway Auditor Certificate Holder and an OSHA Outreach Trainer in Occupational Safety and Health Standards. Fred encourages both his family and employees to make the right decisions in life no matter what the challenges may be. He lives by the saying “never take the easy road unless it is the right road!”
